No. Only the Sturgeon General can do that. A bit fishy if you ask me.

Hitler did, or at least produced decrees severely curtailing smoking.
But how well that took outside his immediate environment was something else. Cigarettes were an alternate currency in the military, and when the heir of the Players tobacco fortune was captured in North Africa, the Germans offered to ransom him back to the opposing British troops for 1,000,000 cigarettes. The British offered 600,000.
( Hans Von Luck, recorded in Steven Ambrose's "Pegasus Bridge")

Why would a Hitleresque person want to ban cigarettes? Would he not have jumped in to make a profit?

How about the Pope?
"Pope Urban VII's 13 day papal reign included the world's first known public smoking ban (1590), as he threatened to excommunicate anyone who "took tobacco in the porchway of or inside a church, whether it be by chewing it, smoking it with a pipe or sniffing it in powdered form through the nose".[14]."

For more than 400 years, doctors and educated persons have known how terrible cigarettes (and tobacco) are. The only question is, in the face of undisputable evidence, why would any one want to use them?

It could happen again and probably will. The same way people carried on about 'Demon Rum' they now carry on about smoking, second hand smoke, etc.
Have you seen studies about how much smoking costs taxpayers? What a crock of swill.
For those studies to be accurate, non-smokers could never die of any cause except old age.
'400 pound man dies...of smoking'
'Dead man in wrecked car...died of smoking'
'Man dies with gun in hand and hole in head...died of smoking'
The scary part is that people are buying into this or playing along. Nobody wants their kids to smoke so they play up the hype.
We will have another prohibition...especially if we nationalize heathcare ('no smoking when I am paying directly for it').
The workings of such propaganda are not a mystery. The hearts of those who push it are.

If Hitler Knew what Cigarettes does to the human BODY, he
would have banded cigarettes for his people and made the people in the camps pay for them and smoke them.

~Of course they would. After all, prostitution and drugs are illegal and, thanks to the laws prohibitting them, noone ever gets high or laid by hookers anymore. Thank goodness they outlawed booze in the 20's and people stopped drinking.
