I saw a friend do it at the Battle Tower, with one of my Mews. But I don't understand how to do it. Can someone tell me? I tried looking it up on GameFAQS and other sites, but I can't find it.

Yes.
Go to the Battle Tower. Deposit the pokemon you wish to clone. Save. Withdraw the pokemon you just deposited. Talk to the link multi battle (4th) person. Take the challenge and pick any pokemon. While it is saving turn the game off.
When you turn it back on it will say it corrupted. This is ok. U will have the pokemon in your party and box.

Go to the battle tower. Go to the pc. Put the pokemon you want to clone together in a box. Save. Take them out. Go to the lady closest to you at the desk.(far right) Talk to her when she tells you to save,wait 1 mississippi(weird i know, but it works) and shut it off. Turn it back on and the file will be corrupt. That is the sign you did it right. Enjoy. And, if you have diamond or pearl, I'd like a mew?

yes, its possible...first put 5 pokemons u wanna clone in the pc in the far right..then save...turn off and then on again...then take em out and then go to far right counter (multi-link)..then talk to her and then pick the lvls u want and then pick 2 pokemons and then when it says "saving do not turn off"...turn it off..when u turn it bak on its gonna say "data corrupted loading previous data" thats normal... go to ur pc and u can check em..if u need more info..go to youtube and type in pokemon cloning glitch
