I believe it is the 18th anniversary. We are going to be at a family reunion on their actual anniversary, so we want to be able to bring something special. Maybe something customized or unusual (but nice). Nothing too plain and nothing tacky. Help! We are both teenagers so we don't have a ton of $$ but can spend a little bit.

A silver platter! You can enter a singing competition to raise the money for it. You can call your duo The Silver Platters!

Oh, the life lessons of the Brady Bunch.

Try purchasing a picture frame, there is a place in most malls that you can purchase items and they will engrave on them for free, this would make the item something special for them to look at and remember. I would put the current date of their anniversary as a reminder to them how far they have come.

How about a nice portrait of all of the kids together in a nice frame? If someone you know is good with a camera you can have them take the photo then take it to Wal-Mart and have it made into a larger size and get a good frame for it.

How about putting together a scrapbook of pictures of them and the kids as they were growing up. Search out special occasions that would mean alot to them. Get creative. Hobby Lobby and Michaels have great supplies for scrapbooks. You could probably put one together, depending on how fancy you get for between $25 to $100. My parents loved theirs. She still pulls it out often and flips through it and shows all her friends what her daughter did for her.

My parents got my grandparents a beautiful plate(the kind that you hang on the wall) with my grandparents wedding photo on it. Both of my grandparents have passed away now and us kids still love seeing that plate hanging on my parents' wall. It was not too much to pay and it is still around after about 25 yrs. so you know it is a gift that will last. And the picture of my grandparent's on their wedding day is timeless.

You can try getting someone to draw your parents together. Maybe when they were younger or it could be current. That usually is inexpensive. Or even better you could have someone sketch all of you. I bet your parents would love that. It could really let them know how much you love them and appreciate your family. Good Luck

I love the picture idea! Also, one time my siblings and I made our parents an elegant dinner and dressed up to serve it. They LOVED it - it may not be something you can take to the reunion but you can plan it for afterward maybe.

Ditto. I agree with so many others answers. My tree children and a step daughter got a photo done for me for mothers day this year. I was totally blowed away. Best gift ever!
