D-Link Media Server Problem?

I have a d-link dsm320, and i was wondering if there was any way i could hook up the computer to the media server so it would detect it through a wired connection instead of a wireless, i would like to find out how to do this, any answers are apreciated

On the back of the DSM there is a ethernet port. Plug it into your router and it will connect using a LAN instead of a WLAN.
