US coast hit by a Nuke?

I really think it’s only a matter of time before terrorist get a small nuclear device,
And blow up one of our coasts permanently. If not a nuke, a dirty bomb is being plotted this very second.

How can Americans still sit her and say “I hate Bush”, “The war is for oil”.
I think this country has lost its identity, not because we bribe other countries to not make nukes with incentives, and not because we toppled Iraqs government.
(Heck, we could have done that years before desert storm, when we turned back just short of Saddams palace.)

I think something has happened to where we are not Americans anymore, we are to worried about something else, what is it people?

Now here's a question that will make you think, but think you will if the thought is of the right meaning. NUKES!!

First to answer one of the answers given by Obestunna , needs to get out of the past of thinking that a nuke can't destroy a hole Coastal region. A nuke today could very easily wipe out either the East or West Coast just by the fall out from the nuke, even though the nuke may only have a ground zero area of about 10 miles the shock wave will carry for 100's of mile then there come the Radioactive Fall Out with the right wind carrying the fall out, now your talking 1000's of miles.

Now lets take a look at the West Coast first if a nuke were dropped on the San Andras Fault Line at a precise area the quakes that would hit, would either drop the West Coast into the ocean or make one heck of a lone inland, that would reach from the Artic to the An Artic, as well as the Title Waves that would sweep across the ocean from east to west hitting any and all Asian Countries. Waves that could easily reach hiegths of over 100 to 300 feet. the shock waves from the earth quakes would then travel east ward, traveling again 1000's of mile wiping out towns, cities, and the country side homes and farms.

The same would happen if a nuke were dropped on the east coast in the precise area or Fault line in the Eastern Mountain Range. Title Waves taking out any and all Western Coast Line of Europe,Afirca, and the Northern Countries. Fall Out would kill in more then One Country.

As for President Bush his policies of 9/11 were right on : but then he brought in the Iraqies something I can't agree on. My son was one of the First to go into Iraq and to this day he can't figure out why we were there. And now has to live with what he witnessed there for the rest of his life. He left home a bright young kid and came back a ghost of a man. I only seen that kind of look in a person once before and the was with One of my older brothers that fought in Veit Nam. May the political policies change soon and bring our families (soldiers) home safe.

What if Bush pay attention to wrong place while terrorist plan that nuke attack? Bush criticism is not just for fun it does have to do with national security. If he put politics ahead of security how can we prevent that nuke attack? Bush failed as leader to unite people. He had tremendous backing & support just after 9/11. It's crazy some how he blew all that support he had from his country and people abroad.

I am a democrat. My family escaped Islam in the 1950s. We've been expecting this war for decades.

I am often surprised by the same thing you are. Yes, we will be hit.

The seditious are gearing up to blame half the country.
The socialists are gearing up to take over any way they can.

The patriotic are gearing up to fight our enemy.
The patriotic are also gearing up to protest and dissent poor policy decisions.
Each of these last two serves a function in our country. Each puts their country ahead of their own ideology.

I stand with the patriots. the ones who support the war.
I support the patriots who are respectfully protesting without name-calling, spreading unfounded rumors or treating our representatives as "guilty until proved innocent".

The patriots will stand together, will disagree, yet ultimately support the free speech of the other, understand the relationship between the "brakes" and the "gas".

I respect President Bush. I am a patriot, first. A democrat, second. I see my fellow patriots in the republican party. I hope you can see me as well.

There is already a nuclear bomb in America.

If you know of a nuke that can "blow up one of our coasts" let me know. I think you are over estimating the power of a nuclear blast. It wouldn't even blow up an entire city, let alone the coast

Um regardless as to how stupid our president is, that doesnt change the fact that we are still Americans. It just means that the person running America is stupid, and perhaps the people who wanted this moron to run our country. ^_^
