i hate that $hit!!! they need to do that crap as a pop up for another website or something, or put it in the d@mn phonebook!!!

Not too bad considering I haven't given Yahoo a penny, but they have given quite a lot of service over the years.
Can't say I have bought anything because of a banner or popup ad, but I can't begrudge Yahoo making money.

yes they do tend to get annoying.
but since this is a free website, they use advertising as a way to make money.
in the end i would rather have to live with the annoying ads then to pay money
