Glad others are answering too.... I think an archer will be ok in a 55 gallon and perfectly fine in a 75.

Even with the Bichar out of the mix I would still keep such a small fish as the puffer out, it will be a tempting target for the BGK as it grows and to be honest, puffers tend to be rather mean and not really good tank mates for any other fish. Best to keep any puffer in a tank to its self or in a truly monster tank.

well im not magic man, but

They will get very large, but it is possible to keep one in a 55 gallon tank. Again, you must find one that is fully use to freshwater. If you find a brackish water, it will take time and effort to adjust it to freshwater. Thismeans weeks, of slowly adding more and more freshwater.

But, what this means, it should have 100 gallons becuase most people dont just keep one archer. They keep groups. But it will be fine a 55 gallon, jsut no more.

Puffers will probably not do well with your other fish, it seems that u want a brackish water set-up, ie with puffers and archers.

Prehaps drop the birchir and the BGK and go brackish.

55 and 75 would be ok. I'd recommend the 75 if you're going to get the other fish.

I don't think the dwarf puffer would be a good idea. I basically want to agree with MM's answer. With bigger fish, it might bet eaten or bullies. Plus the puffer might show its agressive side and be agressive as well. I'd stick with the bichar.

I have to agree with what has been said about the Puffer. I would drop the Puffer but keep the Birchir. I also suggest going for the larger tank and getting more than one Archer fish. They are fish that live in shoals. Get 3 of them for a 75 gallon tank. You will need to not fill your tank completely to the top and leave a good amount of space where plants and driftwood can stick out of the water. They have special requirements due to their ability to shot water at insects to knock them of plants and into the water for eating.

This fish will do ok in a 75gal. The main reason they say 100gal. is this fish likes to have a big area to hunt .
it will be fine with your other fish none of them will die.
