GM has gotten a real pos. from korea, the aveo, and has put a Chevy nameplate on it. GM again is trying to screw the public. The Aveo is a real POS. "Unsafe at Any Speed" will be reprinted with a new chapter featuring the Aveo. No wonder GM's sales are in the toilet. Certified morons manage the company. Your comments please.

Why does GM think that rebadging a Daewoo will work in the US? Daewoo failed here for a reason. It sucked!
GM has a long reputation for building inferior cars. To make things worse they re-badge every car. Can you think of one GM car that WASN'T rebadged? Not even the Corvette which shares many things with the new Cadillac XLR. All the new Saturns are rebadged Opels. Before that all Saturns SUCK. They even have a brand that is dedicated to rebadging: GMC. What is the point of that brand? Honestly. Just kill it like they killed Oldsmobile... good riddance.
No wonder they're loosing to Toyota. They're practicly handing over the title of World's #1 Automaker to them.

I purchased a 2007 Aveo . I also have a 2006 Chevy Uplander. The uplander is always breaking down.. Check eng lite / Trans / wheel hubs/ low oil pressure/doors won't unlock/... I needed a reasonable priced car so the Aveo was it.. I drive it more than the uplander.. Its a no frills car.. My kids and their Friends think it great.. You have to roll up the windows and push the knob down to lock the doors.. So many people comment on the cars features.. the gas mileage is great. I can com pair the car to a Chevy Vega or Chevette.. And I had both of them..The Aveo has a 7 yr 100000 mile warranty.. The car is roomy for four people. My Uplander is the real POS $26000.00 Its blue but should be YELLOW A real lemon.. THE AVEO IS A $10,000.00
AND GREAT FOR THE PRICE.Maybe Korea builds a fine car.. Imports are taken over for quality and performance.

To defend the Aveos saftey just a few days ago I say a 07 Rav4 that rear-ended an Aveo, The Aveo had a dent in the bumper while the Toyotas front end was totally destroyed.

Sence you dont drive a chevy aveo how would you know? I have found the aveo to be a good car.I have talked to many aveo owners that like this car.Good MPG.lots of room and drives well.
