No. I never did. My doctor banned it before I could get tired of it. But I think that some 45 years addiction indicates that I was not about to get tired of it.
Now, that's GOOD coffee. One can get tired of lousy coffee very quickly. Like in one sip.

You are what you eat.
I personally love it ...in moderation.
Caffeine is a xanthine alkaloid compound that acts as a stimulant in humans. In humans, caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant, having the effect of temporarily warding off drowsiness and restoring alertness
In large amounts, and especially over extended periods of time, caffeine can lead to a condition known as "caffeinism." Caffeinism usually combines "caffeine dependency" with a wide range of unpleasant physical and mental conditions including nervousness, irritability, anxiety, tremulousness, muscle twitching (hyperreflexia), insomnia, headaches, respiratory alkalosis[51] and heart palpitations.[52] Furthermore, because caffeine increases the production of stomach acid, high usage over time can lead to peptic ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Long-term overuse of caffeine can elicit a number of psychiatric disturbances: caffeine-induced sleep disorder and caffeine-induced anxiety disorder.
Basically you "crash" after the initial caffeine rush wears off and it although temporarily relieves tiredness can become addictive and counter active.

Totally! And I find that the caffeine surges and withdrawals give me migraines. But sometimes I totally love fancy iced coffee drinks, so its a real bummer.
