Just go to the mall and find stuff you like, if it looks good it dosent matter but some trendy stores are Forever 21, Charlotte Rousse, Urban Outfitters, Gadzooks, and even Ross or TJ Maxx, it's cheap but regardless you dont want to be a clone of everyone else so just get what you like. Woo woo!

Try to find vintage clothing stores, they have clothes that are funky and trendy. Try pairing differnt things together and pick yourself up a Seventeen or Cosmogirl Magazine they have good clothes in there :)

Go to Urban Outfitters. They have very trendy and stylish clothing. Education wise, it's not much different like your teacher's might scare you into thinking.

grade 9 is very similar to grade 8. things are not going to change drastically over 3 mos.

is this question just about clothes or did you really want to know about education as well? i would say you'd get ready just like you get ready every day; it's just one summer separating 8th from 9th grade.
