Ok. . .so. . .Ameriquest is disbursing a few million dollars due to a law suit in a settlement after action filed by the state of Michigan. . .

How do you find out if there is another class action suit being filed against Ameriquest?

I'm confident that there will be at least dozens of separate lawsuits - both individual and class action. And, as usual, the lawyers will be the big winners, not the consumers.
I signed a waiver and sent it back in for several reasons - I know what my minimum disbursement will be, I don't have to pay a lawyer to get it and I don't have the hassle for following up on a lawsuit that in all probability won't increase any funds that I receive - and could very well cause a decrease in the amount after all is considered.
That's my take on this - there's so many plaintiffs in this case that I'm guessing an individual lawsuit would drag on for an eternity - and the end result would not justify the added frustration and costs.

I know there is one in New Jersey also. Check with your states insurance and banking department or with the consumer affairs division would be my suggestion to getting more information.
