Those Vacation Blocks people like are almost all filler and no nutrition. They can pollute the water, and people who pay for them are pretty much paying extra to not feed their fish, believe it or not.

A weekend is nothing for a fish to go without food - they can go weeks. This is because they are cold blooded and don't use energy to warm their bodies like warm blooded animals do.

So, change their water, give them a final feeding (don't overfeed to make up for it, that will only dirty the water) and leave without worrying about it. They'll be A-O-K.

Please don't use any of those vacation food blocks or discs. They are nutritional rubbish for your fish and barely work anyway.

Instead, you can leave your bettas over the weekend. Do a water change and feed them (the REGULAR amount that you normally feed) before you go. Bettas can last up to a week without food, completely unharmed.

Just make sure you have a lid over their tanks so they don't jump out while you're gone. However, the lid must not cut off airflow from their tanks, since they still need to breathe.

Your bettas will be fine.

Healthy bettas can go without food for a week or even longer with no problem. Just make sure you clean the tank before you leave (that's more important than food), and feed them just like normal (don't overfeed or the water quality degrades). They'll be just fine.

I would feed them well the days up to you going away, then make sure you change the water just before you leave.

The fish will be fine for 3 days without any food.

Change the water a day before you leave and all will be well during your absence. No need to worry about them not having food over the weekend, they will be perfectly fine and it will be far better than having a "vacation feeder" pollute your tanks.
