Well it's a personal issue between him and his wife. But him being a republican who preaches family values kind of sounds like a hypocrite. There are more names on the list, I just wonder why he was chosen as the one to oust first. 2D

He is at best an adulter and a lair.
He should be tested for HIV.
He llied and now asks for forgiveness that his wife may grant but:

Do not you want to see his full phone records?

His computer (pornography?) files?

The DA is said to know which "escorts" he visited and what these ladies "specialized" in.

He is BTW a United States Senator. One of just 100 folks.

Votes againist anything not "moral and right"

In his humble double dealing, sexual deviant ways....
he is making a joke on us all.

He must resign.
He must face the music as he applies to all others.

I hope no person American wishes him less than the best but not in our US Senate.

He did not "fall in love" he lusted with strangers: he risked, endangered our national Security: he is a risk, he has to just leave.

Wish him well when he does such.

But as an American: he has no Faith or Trust from most people.

Nothing surprises me if the politician came out of Louisiana the most corrupt political state in the Union.

Not my representative, but at least he stood up and took responsibility for his actions, and appologized publicly to his family and constituants, but even after that, I would have a hard time voting for him next election, unless the alternative was worse.

EDIT:
joedoc,
I'll join your bandwagon if you'll say the same thing about Ted Kennedy.

Ordinarily I'd say his private life is his business and his alone. However, he has portrayed himself as a "family values" politician, so I think the irony is delicious.

He should be in jail just like all others who get busted for buying prostitutes...

But I forgot....laws don't apply to politicians.

At least he paid for it himself instead of giving out presidential favors.
