Dude, I read something about that in an editorial last week on Yahoo. I don't know if it's true, but the guy writing it said the house and senate were trying to compromise of a bill to send troops to Iraq soley as a supportive military. If things get to hot they'd step in and help, but they'd be like one of the last lines of defense and the Iraq police and military would do most of the work.

If that's what you're talking about it sounds good to me. The slaughter of South Vietnamese after America pulled out in 1975 might have both sides thinking a full pull out might not be the best solution.

Democratic leaders want to get out troops OUT of Iraq, the exact opposite of what you're suggesting.

I have no idea and neither do they. Only 20 percent of our troops are democrats.! maybe it is time to do a little equalizing.
