Whenever I ask a question critical of President Bush or other Republicans such as David Vitter, I get responses to the effect that Clinton did the same thing or worse. Do two wrongs make a right? What someone does in office has nothing to do with what Clinton did or was supposed to have done. Each action should be judged by itself.

This is different. Vitters has promoted himself as a man of strong moral values. He has ostrasized gays and lesbians for their perceived sexual transgressions, as well as others. He has been strident in his criticism of others. Now when it his turn, he asks the public not to be judgemental. He can't have it both ways. Hypocrisy is what makes this case so galling.

Yanno what....for every one Democrat that is busted like Jefferson with that cash in his freezer, there are at least 25 Republicans either forced to step down, indicted or at least tied to some scandal.
The republican party has run rampant, unchecked & with assumed impunity for over 6 years now. When they get busted... it's always deflect deflect deflect.... I have yet to see one republican sack it up like a man & admit his wrongdoings ( Vitter excluded... he admitted AFTER he was outed )
So, yes... Clinton to them IS a demigod of sorts...
Great question....
Have I mentioned that I just love you when you talk politics?

I'd like to know why David Vitter's problem is of such interest ? It wasn't done in the White house oval office as far as I know ,it was a personal and private indiscretion not for public debate until a bimbo manager used it to try and get out of the trouble she brought on herself . Clinton was , is and always be nothing more than poor white trash, no matter how much he rakes in from the gullible left . As you said each should be judged by it's self and he long ago talked with his wife God about it , so drop it already.

No, two wrongs do not make a right, but it does take three lefts.
Remember, Clinton does not inhale, he just sucks. Clinton did not have sex with one of the nations ugliest interns, and she apparently did not inhale either. Clinton and Vitter may have attended the same school. See my 360 blog about the college In Northern Georgia.

i think of Sarah Palin is a very staggering place sort. She has been between the main eminent governors in Alakan history, a overall performance record of staggering own achievements, and a sort kin. i became surprised to confirm each member of the kin, brothers, sisters, husband all pitching in to observe over the infant in this type of loving way. you quite might desire to appreciate that. it is an merely approximately suitable sort of a satisfied, properly adjusted, loving kin. And, as vice chairman, Mrs Palin might have staggering supplies to help her take care that. i'm particular the secret service guards can discover ways to alter some pampers. And, i do no longer think of the daughter being pregnant has a lot of an impact of the popular of the kin, as a count number of actuality it is quite uncomplicated in this united states. approximately one out of three households will manage this occasion. besides, the daughter isn't working for workplace. Thirdly i might want to show out that the Democrats in no way raised this concern with Hillary Clinton whilst she became campaigning. and extra, The Democrats have claimed to be the forward thinking, all inclusive occasion with a extensive concentration on womens rights, and then at present they start all of the sexist carping approximately her wanting to be extra centred on her kin, and so on.. all of it looks like the previous "shop em bare foot and interior the kitchen" from back interior the 1950's. i'm sorry, i theory this became 2008 and we had stepped forward previous all that. consistent with hazard Dr. Laura is inaccurate, it does no longer be the 1st time.

Right wingers have been invoking Clinton's name when things go wrong since 2001. At the time of Clinton's indiscretion, Wendy Vitter said "She would not be like Hilliary, she would be more like Loreena Bobbitt, she was going to leave with something and it wasn't going to be alimony!" I wonder if ole Dave's still in tact.

Old Bill SHOULD be a role model for the GOP.
He submitted balanced budgets, something that Reagan and both Bushes failed to do over nearly 20 total years in office.

I think Bill Clinton is a role model only in how he campaigned for the presidency in 1992 and re-election in 1996. It was only his wonderful campaigning that got him elected President of the USA. President George H.W. Bush and Senator Bob Dole were horrible campaigners (I want to add here that I am a Democrat that holds former President Bush and former Senator Dole in the highest regard).
