No, because Bush will stay in power beyond his term and say that we have to stay there as long as there are terrorists threatening the United States.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has just stated that the United States can leave whenever they want. If that's not a none too subtle message to get the hell out of my country, I don't know what is. Personally, I think its a good idea. The Iraqi army and police may not be very well trained yet, but they are also not a superpower who is under pressure by the global community to maintain dignity and morality when they put down terrorist cells (a dignity and morality which we brought upon ourselves by holding ourselves up as the moral leaders of the world). Lets face it, once the United States isn't there anymore Iraq will be filled with Abu Ghraib-type prisons but it will no longer be a news story because members of the United States military won't be involved. And the ones in prison will be the lucky ones. "Due process" isn't a common occurance in the Middle East.

Civilian deaths are own 36%
There have been less and less terrorist attacks since the troop surge
We have been killing and detaining terrorists on a daily basis
Though, the media doesn't tell the American people this because it would show that a republican knew what he was doing.
I really want our troops home...I have friends that are over there right now, but we need to complete the mission before we leave...but the tide is turning in Iraq and we are going to win.

Well like a lot have already said;the war will contiknue on until someone takes action.I am with everyone when they say that bush is stupid and an ***,but people aren't taking action themselves,they need to stand up and try to make things better.Even if its not related to the war,they can at least try to do something like stop global warming,save energy,and water,etc.
But,its guaranteed that the soldiers will be back by 2008;or well that's what they say.Many are trying to get them back by this fall.

I am sure that most of us would like to see this War end and soon, however it will end as soon as the Terrorists are no longer a treat to the western countries. I am sure that most of the churches you attend are praying for World Peace, and it is certainly so with our church. Then we could devote more time and funds to our Planet. Pray for Peace. I'm writing a book about the two characters involved and from my perspective I can see which one is the female and the male. One has already shown it's colors as green they are closer than they have ever been, being more in agreement So, don't give up on them because i do want to write this book. Thank You.

That war will never end. With a monkey for a President things
will never change. Our own President has already killed more
people than the ones killed in New York on 9-11. Since he wants to fight the terrorists lets give him a uniform and gun,
maybe the terrorists will do us a favor.

The war between the us and iraq will end, not soon enough because ill have to return the beginning of next year, but the war on terror will never end.

Wow all of this Bush hate. Has it occurred to any of you that there are millions of radical Muslims who want you all to die.
They do not care about your ideas, your understanding or your love of all mankind. They see you all as infidels and cowards and want to institute Islamic law in the entire world and if you are anything but Muslim they want you dead. The war will end when they are all dead or you are all dead. If you believe anything else you are either naive or a fool. Remember your love of all mankind when you are strapped to a table and the big knife starts cutting your head off.

It will be hard to end the war wither we have troops over there or not
lets not forget that Korea has been over for many years and we are still fighting over there
Our troops on the DMZ get shot at daily
