Ok so is it cod or castor oil? I was told one thing and now that I took the castor oil I was told its cod liver!?!?1 Which one and did I do this whole thing wrong?

it is indeed castor oil. BUT as i stated in the other thread; its NOT an onset to labor; it will only make you sick; guaranteed, and just hope it doesnt make your baby go too; this is called meconium, and if the baby swallows that during labor/delivery it can cause serious problems. please dont drink anymore!

If you are talking about inducing labor, the answer would be castor oil.. However as a nurse, I would not reccommend it. All it will do is give you the poops and make you miserable. If you are close to due, you could try sex or nipple stimulation istead. Its more fun and is more likely to work

It's castor oil, but don't do it! All it does is give you a really nasty case of the runs about half an hour after drinking it.....It doesn't bring on labour.....

Labor is going to come when it's going to come. You can't push it to get overwith faster. It's an old wives tale that you can. What your doing is only going to hurt you or the baby so stop.
