(p^2 + 5p + 6)/(p^2 + 2p - 3)
= (p+3)(p+2)/(p-1)(p+3)
=(p+2)/(p-1)

= [(p + 3)(p + 2)] / [(p + 3)(p - 1)]
= (p + 2) / (p - 1)
