1) .625x = 40, divide by .625 and x=64

so the recprical (and correct answer) is 1/64.

2) 6000/.24 = 25,000 is the population.

3) Since 2, 3, 5, and 7 are all prime numbers and have to common factors, the smallest possible multiple is the product of the numbers: 2x3x5x7= 210

40/.625=64 reciprocal = 1/64 = .015625

6000/.24=25000

1. 62.5%x40 = 25 so 1/25 is the reciprocal

2. 24%x = 6000 so x = 6000/24% = 25000

3. 2*3*5*7= 210
