I've got these nice shorts, but they come above the bellybutton. I can sew and stuff, but how should i do it? If you know a place i can get it done, tell me where and the cost.

You will have to undo the stitching of the belt, disconnect it completely. Then cut off the top of the shorts. Then connect the belt back. The probelem that you will run into that the belt now will be too short, because your waist measurement is less than your below-waste measurement. You will have to be creative and extendt the belt somehow with the fabric that you just cut off from the top part of the shorts. Also, if the button was not a sew on type but a rivet type, you might have to get a new button.

Alteration shop can do it, if it can be done on this particular design. It would probably take 2 hours of work, so whatever they charge for that...

Its possible, but you will need to take it to an alteration shop to see if it can be done.
