Be sure it would connect directly to a power supply's 4 pin Molex connector. Some fans have an adaptor. Then look for the pin with the GREEN wire (PWR ON) on the 20 or 24 pin ATX connector. Short that pin with any adjacent pin with a BLACK wire. The green and black wires are the same lines that are activated by the PC power button. There is no voltage there, it is just a logic switch. Most fans draw a fraction of an ampere. The +12V rail of a power supply can supply as much as 12 to 18 amperes. You can have lots of fun, err I mean FANS.
