i'm a girl. too bad. it's worse for us in locker rooms anyways, being in a bra and undies. anyways, no one really cares, so you'll be fine.

What's the problem with girls answering your question? Don't you like having conversations with girls when the topic of undressing and nudity is involved?
You don't have to get naked. When you change for PE or for a sport you can just take one thing off and put one thing on at a time. For instances you always empty your pockets and put your stuff in your locker along with your shoes. Take off your pants and put on your gym shorts after wards. So you'd be in your PE shorts while you're taking your street shirt off and putting your PE shirt on.
It's really not that big of a deal. And if you work out it's just a chance to show off. Like I said you don't even have to be naked.
As far as the showers go, no school can legally make you take a shower, because of child protection laws. You usually don't even work hard enough to sweat. Usually the activities are pretty easy and boring for the most part, hence the reason why it's better to join a sport.
But nonetheless, nudity isn't an issue. The only issue that arises no matter where you go to school is stealing. If you don't watch it and lock your locker up, you can get jacked. But other than that, there really are no problems. Pretty straight forward actually.

This is what happened in football but this was 7th grade for me. There were a few guys at the beginning of the season wouldn't take a shower, then when the coaches gave them a hard time they would shower in there shorts for about a week then everybody took showers. Nobody cares just be the first one in and the first one out otherwise you will be standing around waiting for a shower with some dumbass who has to talk to you or something.

tips?
well these are more simple comon sense routine than tips
enter locker room; undress and put on gym uniform (do not wear normal clothes durign gym - no one want sto smell yoru sweaty underwear all day.
at end of class, strip off and go shower - use soap and warm water and be thorough. then dry off well, dress, put away gym clothes and proceed with your day.
And if you are concerned with other guys seeing yoru penis, forget ti. They all have penises too and you have nothign that requires concealment. Just get naked and be proud of what you have and be clean for the rest of the day. That iis far better than being a stinky pig in classes.

Dude tips like what? You go in find you locker and change into your PE uniform. If your PE teacher is a idiot and assignes all of your lockers in one group clump find a buddy from another period to change lockers with. dude you all have the same equipment its no big deal.

Back in my days at school we changed in to our PE uniforms of shorts, t shirt, gym socks, sneakers and our supporter. Had equipment check before starting class to make sure you were dressed for class. After class hit the showers like the rest of the guys.
