i am a simi popular person at my school. people know me. but it is only the people that are in my grade level that do. i am going to be the oldest grade level in my school level next year and i want to start out the new school year with being known. i have had some luck with some guys and i thought that it would help but it didnt.! at all! i am pretty too. that has not helped at all either! i am only known at school for being rich and i dont like it. i need some good tips on how to become popular FAST!

Build your self confidence and self asteem without becoming concieted. Become the type of person that you would like to be freinds with. Help out when ever you can, lift up and stand up for those that are less fortunate. In other words you have to convince yourself that you deserve to be popular. Once you believe it it will happen and the best part is that the respect you get from others will be sincere and not superficial. It may even take most of the year but it will last a life time. Its not about becoming more popular, its about knowing that you are..... So what if you're rich or you have a BMW, nobody cares about that... and if you have good looks that works against you also... Its not every about being popular, or knowing everyone, its about you knowing yourself and being true to yourself...
I know you must think i'm crazy, but trust me, i was the most popular guy at school, and i am still a legend at work. This one time when i went back to my campus 3 years after i graduated, this lil' asian guy ran up to me in a panic and was excited to see me and asked me about all the crazy things i did...
If you're not crazy, wild, or adventurous... then go for another angle... its all about angles... being mysterious... being funny... not being such a stiff, who cares if you're rich...
If you're rich... buy the whole school pizza... or travel the world and bring everyone back some kind of gift.... run for president and pass out Corona's that say "Vote for Katie"
Whatever you do... be big, bold, and fabulous....
being boring just doesn't get you noticed... but don't go out and sleep with people or being a sleeze... that doesn't ever work... take pride in being a prude and having goals.....
and don't be fake....

Here are some ideas: take up cheerleading, become class president. Join the drama club or any other club the school has to offer. Work at the school's office even if it's as a volunteer. Follow the steps of someone you consider to be popular at school. Become friends with other popular kids. Make up your own little group of girl followers.

you shouldn't care about being popular you should just be yourself and the people who like you will be your friends and the people who dont...well screw them, im 15 and somewhat popular and its not by choice i just be myself which is exactly what you should do ...dont try to be someone your not.but if you reallllllyy want to be popular go to alll the parties hang around with the popular kids, go to more social events, and a popular boyfriend would help, also you have to dress good people have to look up to you , you should let people know your rich also and have others spread tthe word, that your rich and pretty, usually a group of people are popular not just one so get more friends and from a group so i hope this helps, but i still think you should be yourself you shouldnt want people being your friends for the wrong reasons they arent loyal

Why does everyon want 2 become popular.
There is no such thing as popular it is just another group of friends that arent ur friends. U should be happy that u have your friends. Friends like u for who u r not wat u look like.
Those people u think r popular are just like u. But most of them are snobby and rude and selfish. They also hurt others and only think about them selves. HA and i should know this because i live in one of the biggest areas that have this s*** going on. Believe me u DO NOT want 2 become one of them. If u care about others u wont fit in with them! OMG y do people care about wat others think about them. Just stay the way u are trust me u will be better off then them. O yea and most of them smoke thinking that it is cool but it isnt. And most of them get pregnant young. Thats all im going 2 say and i hope u understand enough 2 stay the way u r if not thats ur decision that i will never understand!! O yea and most likely ur old friends will hate u along with the rest of the school!!

rich, pretty popular girls have to sell their souls to the devil to act the way they do. All the ones I ever knew drank too much, fooled around with boys way too much, and were total bi tches.
I wouldn't try to be something your not. Be yourself and if you make one really special friend - she'll be your friend for life. My best friend from school I met when I was 15... We have been best friends for almost 20 yrs and we have had alot of good times together I would have never had with a bunch of shallow relationships with people I barely liked.

Well if you are rich spend lots of money on your friends. Take a group of them to a movie. Throw big parties with live entertainment. Treat them to drinks and or meals. Make them feel comfortable and have a good time. Don't worry about what others think be yourself, Share what you have with you friends and treat others the way you would like them to treat you.

Be friendly to everyone and be nice. Treat everyone with respect. Don't earn a bad reputation. Do charity work and join clubs at school. If you can play the guitar,sing, or play the piano be in a talent show (if you school has one.) Help other students when they have problems.

Do good things. Somehow find a way to get people to talk about you. I help and volenteered at the YMCA and I was in the newspaper. At school, I was known for my kindness so that helped alot! Be nice and kind too. Everyone loves someone they can talk to.
