After the courts ruled against Al Gore, I paid very close attention to the polls. His popularity had declined so quickly, so precipitously, that had the election been run again, Bush would have won by a landslide.

Hasn't anyone questioned WHY Gore didn't try a second time? Easy answer: he didn't stand a chance.

Since people had overwhelmingly withdrawn their support for Gore, the assertion that Bush "stole" the election is absurd. No matter how many times you count those ballots, Bush won, and if they had held another election, Bush would have wiped Gore off the map.

Liberals are idiots who think that Bush rigged the election. I guess it's hard for them to get fair and balanced news that would have gave them many articles about SEVERAL independent companies that recounted the ballots in Florida and Bush won every single time. Honestly, I'm not surprised Democrats are still bitter. They still have Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers on their stationwagons.

By the way, how many re-counts did Gore win?

You mean by trying to get the courts to block and not count the military vote? No I have not forgiven him for that.
