Do You Think There Could Be Another Terrorist Attack in the US?

Do you feel safe? Is Homeland Security doing a good job-I don't think so. Opinions?

I think it is going to be "when" not "could" there be another terrorist attack.

The very unfortunate thing is that the chances of detecting ALL plots of this sort is nearly nil. However, perhaps, just perhaps something truly horrific, something so terrible that it makes 9-11 seem like a walk in the park may be exactly what the western nations need to first galvanize their own people into action, and into a real commitment to their allies to fight the evil behind the terrorism. Furthermore, it will take something to this point even unthought-of to band together and drop off illusion of Political Correctness, call a spade a spade, and fight them to the last man if necessary.

Anything less, in my not so humble opinion, will simply get more vague promises, open lies, veiled threats, and open hostility. I think there is a time that the "bad guy simply has to be SQUASHED like a bug, with no apologizes and no regrets.

There are some things worse than death, and being ruled by some of these terrorists, and their so called religious clerics, just might be such a case.

The REAL shame is that it is probably going to have to be so monstrous, and effect nearly every severely brain damaged bleeding heart liberal in the USA and the western world before action can take place on a united front.

I don't think these "liberal types" would care if buildings were destroyed all over, as long as they, or their families weren't in those buildings. I don't think they care much about bridges, unless they are on the bridge, I don't think they care about the Capitol Building or White House. Perhaps they MIGHT care if it would an atomic explosion during the Super Bowl, which delayed the second half; or bringing down the building having the NBA playoffs; or Heaven forbid blowing the building up with the yet and final, final farewell tour of Tiny Turner and Barbra Streisand. Now that might get some folks riled up.
A horrible potential there there folks. I think it's going to happen, and someday you really are going to have to pick your side....and that DOES NOT mean your political party, that means your country, your culture and your elected government.

i hope that there is not another attack on the U. S. but as long as Binladin and his followers are still alive there will be attacks. to me the one good thing that Bush is doing is keeping the war out of the U. S. and out of Canada.
