What is the most nerve racking thing you have ever had to do...?

I had to move a Humvee next to a missile that was on fire... I really thought I was going to die.
Another time I was driving through Baghdad with just ONE other Marine. I thought I was going to die then too because we had the old Humvee's no body armor or vehicle armor. and we were alone. All I had was 2 M-16's and 2 9mm's

As a cop I did many nerve racking things!....man with a gun in a building, people come flying out, to get away, and you're like...oh, Ok, let ME, go in THERE!...kinda goes against everything we're taught growing up (avoiding danger)
