I learned how to speak French, and I love it. It's the language of love. or should I say.... J'ai appris parler Francaise, et je l'aime. C'est le langue d'amour.
One of my favorite things to do is talk to people in Yahoo Answers French and Quebec. It's fun. I even made friends with some of them. I am expanding my horizons. Check out my answers and questions--see for yourself!

I can't narrow it down to one thing.
1. Learning that my now husband loves me as much as i love him.
2. Learning how much i loved being a mother.
3. Learning that after months of trying that my husband and i are pregnant with a baby girl.
4. Learning what unconditional love really is.
5. Learning what a true friend is.

It took me a long time to realize this but now at 20 I realize that parents do know best and when teens are complaining about parents I tell them straight up listen to the folks. Parents don't want to ruin your life. they're just older, smarter and can read people way better than us. they're looking out for us. they don't want to see us hurt so they try to prevent that from happening.
So the best thing I learned was listen to your parents and even at 20 if they say do something- I do it. Most times no questions asked because I spent enough time being an idiot and disobeying and ended up really hurting myself and others.
Parents know best.

It's a history fact: Although it was Chrisopher Columbus who discovered the Americas and the Americas should have been called Columbia in his honour, a cartographer a few years later called them the Americas in honour of Vespuscio Amerrigo (not sure of spelling).
Once they were called the Americas, there was no turning back and poor Chris couldn't get the name changed to Columbia.
