And why?
I'd say Kennedy...not only does he have decent wrestling ability, he can cut promos better than anyone on the WWE roster right now (yes, that includes HHH and Edge too).
Lashley is a freak of nature...I just don't know if he has "it".

Lashly on in-ring technical skills (he's really a mat wrestler)

The only think Lashley lacks is mic skills.... but he doesn't talk a lot so he's not annoying. I hate when guys suck on the mic but talk a lot anyway (like Cena).
Lashley is a good technical wrestler, and he does have the credibility over Kennedy. He's more believable as a world champ because he is giant, and a three time NCAA champ.
I'd say Kennedy deserves it more. He is flawless. He's great on the mic and great in the ring. And his finisher is amazing.
Plus Lashley already got to hold the ECW world title (twice), Kennedy should get a world title reign before Lashley gets another.

Lashley is horrible on the mic and cannot wrestle that well- his strength is his size and power moves. Kennedy has his moments but also has poor mic skills that are kind of a rip off of the Rock. He was the only one to lose the timed matches a couple weeks back to determine the #1 contender... Edge isnt that good on the mic either by the way.

Kennedy
Right now he just has that it factor. They could make him a face or a heel and he is just going to be received that way and get the major reaction either way. It was a shame when he was misdiagnosed and missed his Title reign.
Lashley I think is some time away from being a decent guy. He is very hard working and might at some point develop some mic skills but that is a long time away..

Mr. Kennedy is best out of Lashley. Kennedy has the MIC skills and has the fan support. somewhat. and he has great wrestling skills as well i'd much rather see him get the title then Bobby Lashley. i'm not saying Lashley is bad he'd be a decent champion. anyone is other then cena? but i'd much rather have kennedy has the champion of the WWE though.

Kennedy and Lashley both are Championship calibered wrestlers. But, I think that Kennedy would have the upper hand in who would make the better Champion. One reason being that he have fantastic mic skills sumthin' all the great champions have had. Lashley is probably the better wrestler, but his mic skills aren't all that great.

Right now, I think Lashley would make the better WWE Champion, but if Mr. Kennedy would quit repeating his name, the difference in their mic skills would then tip the balance in Kennedy's favor.
Kennedy's name repetition is the most annoying thing of any active wrestler (and the only thing preventing me from joining his fan base), and only Michael Cole has been more annoying in July.

Well Lashley doesn't have the mic skills but he has alot of wrestling credibility!!! Kennedy has mic skills and wrestling skills!!!! But I think Lashley could break the barrier!!!
