Both have very nice countrysides, France has lots of coastlines and the Rivera which the Czechs do not. Paris is nice but overpopulated dirty and over run with tourists, Prague is very nice, kind of what Paris was 25 years ago. France, some crime, getting more so, ethnic tensions. Czech Republic, very safe, except for a few pockets of Roma people, no ethnic problems whatsoever. France is a very large country and there is much more to see other than Paris. Czech Republic is a small country with incredibly diverse countryside, there is also lots to see other than the Old Town square - Charles Bridge - Castle where in Prague all the tourists seem to mill about. France: very expensive, Czech Republic, a bargain (some Prague center hotels are getting pricey) My vote is for the Czech Republic, but like I said its not a fair comparison.

Well I have never been to the Czech Republic, but I have family in France and so I go there every summer and I must say France is so beautiful. My favorite part is Bretagne in the north part of france on the coast near the beach, its beautiful. Normandy is also pretty, and of course just dining in little cafes in paris is great.

depends what you're looking for... if you want to spend your vacation on the beach or see the Eiffel Tower ... go to France...

but the Czech Republic has a lot to offer as well... especially Prague and Český Krumlov are beautiful... also Telč, Kutná Hora, Mariánské Lázně, Karlovy Vary are must must-see's...

either way, no matter where you go... have a great time! :o)

i would have to say france beacuase it's the biggest tourist destination in the world and i think it has a lot more to offer than the czech republic but the czech republic is still very nice. Pairs seems a little more exciting than Prague the capital of the Czech Republic because Prague is a little more medieval looking and old fashioned it sort of looks plain

Prague is one of the towns worth-visit and to achieve that you can start planning your holiday with hotelbye . Beginning with the wonderful place across the Prague Castle or the Strahov monastery with its amazing selection and end with …the entire outstanding city, Prague is merely incredible. In Prague you may also visit the little home wherever Franz Kafka labored or the wonderful Prague Castle gardens from where you are able to have a special view of the town with its picturesque red roofs. In this city you'll never get bored. If you should go through the spring you will discover the spring trees in blossom; in the summer you might find extended dusks; fall provides you with colorful leaves and particular gentle and in the winter you will like the complete town protected with simple bright snow.

I'd have to vote for France, even though Prague alone is more beautiful than France, when it comes to whole countries, France wins with its beautiful beaches, amazing mountains, cave dwellings, Roman ruins, Paris, TGV trains, and such a variety that small and landlocked (but indeed beautiful) Czechy doesn't have.
