How do you know which manual to read when you don't know the model number?
At first I thought you might be a macho man from your comment of "I bought a woman", but I think that your closing term of "fascinating creature" redeemed you.
My serious answer:
With friendship, love, understanding, honesty, openness, humour, and consideration. I would give the same answer for "a man I bought".
