Jerks are very dense, if you get my drift. They are so freakin' dense that they are gravitationally drawn together at this section. And this is where they acquire more DENSITY than you ever thought was humanly possible. They create a form of a "black hole" so freakin' dense that the light of knowledge cannot squeeze its way past the event horizon and into the anomaly.
The congregation of extreme dense-ness squeezes out any intellectual qualities that may have been formerly present and becomes a massive "JERK-HOLE". That's what visits us each and every day, friend.

Well, to be fair, even jerks need a place to ask their silly questions and to be a part of a community.
I mean, they're people to (sort of) and have the same rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of ignorance (sorry, I mean happiness...well, to a jerk maybe ignorance is bliss) as the rest of us.
So personally I'd rather they stay here, online at home away from the real world, instead of driving too slow on the freeway while on a cell phone, or cutting people off at yellow lights, or spitting on the sidewalk right in front of you, or (worse yet) procreating (ugh!) and making more of them.

I am not sure.
I find that there are serious Astronomers in Yahoo.
I find that there are some people interested in Astronomy in yahoo.
And I find that there are some narrow minded fools who insist upon insertion of the God aspect of mythology into every possible nook and cranny that they can. Somehow they fail to comprehend how unattractive their philosophies become when they are rammed down everyone's throat day after day after day. Soon we recognize them as religious zealots and close our minds to them.
Once in a while we find good humorous chaps and gals who being a little smile into our otherwise dreary existences when they drop a little humor on us serious folk.
I guess that all in all it is a slice of humanity that we have here. bit of good, bit of coookie, the radicals, and the good ole boys and good ole gals.

Because it's free and it requires no credentials. Nobody is required to know anything about anything to ask or answer questions here. That gives it an almost universal appeal. I use it because it helps me learn to handle these people and not get all bent out of shape into a time warp.

zahbudar knows what hes talking about. people constantly flooding yahoo answers with their "questions" are annoying the crap out of people until they leave angry answers and then appear as jerks.
