My mom will getting it this week. Its the slower version but she's on Horrible dial up that is super slooooooooooow. its has to be a little better. I liked it for the time i had it(faster version). Tech support was never a problem either for me. It was fast and ready to go.

Thats what shes getting. The 14.99 a month for a year. Can she get that again if its avail. at this time next year?

I Read some bad stuff about them but maybe they weren't doing something right. I read about modems dieing and not having internet for days and even weeks.

i have verizon and it is great but you can sometimes get good deals if you go online or call and tell them that you heard about a deal and see if you can get faster for cheaper like i did i have 3mbps for 15.00 for the first year

After reading your note, I fail to understand what you are asking. Do you want a comment on the speed of Verizon DSL or the Quality of Verizon DSL?
The speed is determined by the wire distance from the DSLAM and your subscription agreement.
The quality is determined by the skill of the network engineers, technicians, service personnel, etc. Verizon is highly regarded for their skill level.
