It is a theory...the oldest bones of supposed human ancestors have been found in africa...but one problem is that...africa is probably the only continent that can be searched for old human bones, because the dry climate has and limited regions of population have left it possible to find these old bones. With Carbon Dating...subsequent bones found of early type humans have been found to have existed in older and older dates, thus a chronological timeline due to found fossil evidence and carbon dating has placed africa as the the location of where humankind evolved and migrated from.
We could have come from Europe/Asia..but as of now Anthropological evidence points to Africa...African tribes in Southern Aftrica were genetically tested are were found to have the a genetic code that would have been most similar to early man. I believe it was do to the decrease variations/and mutations in the code
As for the issue of if our ancestors were from Africa..then we were black....the climate/environment back then was not like we have now...it was more of a tropical/forest type region...and the ancestor could have been white/brown/black or red/yellow....we're not sure...
What if humans were placed in different locations by aliens?..and we all evolved independently for a while, till the mergences for the past thousand so years?
What if man came from india but the old fossils cannot be found now because subsequently populations have built over and there is no interest to dig down deep to find old bones(incidentally.. in africa...bones like Lucy's were just found on the surface without digging..so it was easier to find.)...thus we might have tons more older human ancestors in different parts of the world, that are to buried by topsoil that we would never find them.
Even Pompay was buried a few thousand years ago..but under that we have found evidence of another city, and another city..almost seven cities/populations...so if we dig deep enough, in the right places...we have no idea what we'd find.
Edgar Cayce...repeatedly said there were populations of Lemuria and Atlantis...what if they were the location of early man, but we'd never know ...because they are at the bottom of the sea.
Well...only God knows the Truth.

Yes, all Homosapiens come from Africa. Anthropologist found the first human skeleton in Africa (Lucy). Humans have migrated over time but scientifically we all can trace our roots back to Africa.
I believe that biblically humans were born in the Garden of Eden which is in Iraq (Mesopotamia), which is the Middle East.
Maybe "Winter Blossum" can answer that when she gets an education and a dictionary.

Hmmm I wonder what Africa was called before it was named Africa? Eden maybe?
The bible also mentions the Nile river
Biblical basis aside, scientifically Africa is the OLDEST civilization, I wonder how the OLDEST civilization didn't have dibs on Math and Science? Yeah the concepts were stolen...Can anyone say Greek?
Therefore common sense ought to tell you that the oldest civilization produces many other civilizations. After all the oldest civilization is usually the pioneer of many great things!

Africa is the true Motherland of all human races, yes.
Reality, you are clueless. North Africa and N.E. Africa are full of indigeanous caucasians, though a little darker than your typical Euro white, still white.
I am white and I know my roots, Afica is the taproot of the family tree of the human race. Not only were the oldest human bones there, but they did find the missing link several years back.

Yes, it's been proven through archaeological evidence. African Eve is what our common ancestor was called (the Eve being a biblical reference, of course).

Yes it is true, and it is not biblical. We've come to that conclusion based on the fossil record and new genetic technologies have allowed us to verify that the theory is correct.

The Bible implies it was in or around Iraq (the tigris and euphrates rivers are mentioned).
