I was on lupron about 4 months ago and into the 3 month shot I decided to stop because I could not stand the menopause symptoms I was experiencing. I was told that the second time around things could be better. I would love to hear any kind of experience someone had the second time around being on lupron. I am going to be taking a small dose of prempro with the lupron so I hope that helps. My first time around I did the add back therapy and that was hell!!!!

I haven't done actual Lupron but did another medication similar to it called Zoladex. I did the addback with that first course and did really good. I used the Vivelle patch. The second round I had hoped to be on the addback therapy but didn't and did pretty good.

As for the addback with the first time around it sounds like the amount of estrogen in that addback therapy was too high. When I used the Vivelle patch I asked for the lowest dosage possible to help with the potential side effects I might get and not have it affect what the medication was trying to do to help my endometriosis.
