I think the devil looks like god from a different viewpoint.
Everything has the potential to be "good" or "bad" depending upon its usage; a rock can either be used to weigh food that will feed a family or can be used to bash someone's brains in. A good rule of thumb from the medical practise is: "There is no such thing as a safe drug, only safe doses."
And by-the-by...I *could* take personal offence at the pope with "red skin" comment, myself being native american and thus, a "redskin"...have you ever read a book titled 'Red Earth, White Lies'? But that's neither here nor there, lol...

I think that the devil is whatever the person in front of it fears the most. Only in its most horrid form. So if you were afraid of snakes, then it would be like a huge snake or something. Kind of like a boggart off of Harry Potter, only a lot worse...

I think the devil can appear in any form he/she/it chooses. Although I think it's main or favourite form would be a red human-like creature, with horns, ripped up jeans and glowing red eyes; It's voice deep and booming. I think it would stand about seven feet tall, and be very muscular. Also I don't think hell would be pools of lava, but more like people getting what they deserve.

I always thought the coolest image of the devil was the cartoon version of him on the boxes of Red Hots.

Big, tall, black, hooded figure that's darker than the darkest dark you can think of. At least that's what people say anyway. He probably actually disguises himself as being full of light or someone's dead relative when he needs a laugh.
