My friends and I were always to chicken to finish the whole thing. At least one of of us ran of out the bathroom into our sleeping bags! lol

I have tried it a thousand times... It doesnt work. Its a made up story. Its a pajama party ghost story. I used to do it all the time when I was younger to show everyone that there was nothing to be afraid of.
The reason that it is scary is because when you are standing in the dark staring into the mirror your mind can play tricks on you. But if you don't chicken out you will see that nothing happens.

Bloody Mary is dead and gone And no it does not work for if it did there would be thousands of teenage dead bodies all over this country.. So be thankful that it does not work......... But never forget that the human mind is a very powerful instrument within its own right and scientist still have no concept of how powerful it is and what it is able to create.... So I would not recommend that you put the human mind to the test for it just might create something that the body can't deal with that can only end in death.......... And there are many cases of people found just lying dead in front of a mirrior and the Doctors and many scientist are still unable to figure out why are these people are dead... and what they have died from...............................................................................................

well in a sense, yes it does work. when I was younger my step sister scared me to death with these....we went in the bathroom and turned the light off so it was completely dark....looked in the mirror and said bloody mary however many times (I dont remember how it goes now) but if you see your reflection in the mirror it means whatever kinda bad spell stuff is suppose to happen......well you will see yourself in the mirror after a minute or so. It is because your eyes have adjusted to the darkness and you can see!! Dont worry, nothing bad will happen to you :) its fake

Mary is said to be a witch who was executed a hundred years ago for plying the black arts.Some confuse the mirror witch with mary 1 of england whom history remembers as bloody mary, it has beensaid that this murdering british queen killed young girls so she could bathe in their blood to preserve her youthful apperance.

I think the trick is...as you stand there in the dark your eyes begin to adjust to the lack of light. Since your eyes are wigging out your own face is going to look very weird and distorted.
You know what's funny though, even though I've said all that, gave a possible scientific reason for the freakiness...I still won't try it haha.

Never tried it, watching that one episode of Supernatural that had Bloody Mary in it completely turned me off of ever wanting to try it. Pretty much like the Blair Witch Project turned me off of ever wanting to go out camping in the woods.

Well, I'm medium, and as a child I was always able to sense things I didn't quite know what they were, and one thing I knew...was NOT to do that. lol Something has always very heavily steered me away from it (most likely my spirit guides). I also know the mirror can be a portal to the other side. And if you open a portal to the other side, you unfortunately can attract the dark side as well as the light.

i dont believe the spell works but my friend had her bday party at her house she dared another friend to do it when she did it she tried to come out but the door was locked and it did not have a lock on it and we tried 2 pull the door finally it opened and she had a long scratch on her arm. it was scary. the thing is she did not feel getting scrached by somthing. spooky stuff.

No , it is a hoax you may get scared just but the hype of it all ,but I assure you I tried it and it was just a silly old game that has been around for many years....
