When I bought it, invested my Hard Work (and Income!) in it, when I made it my comfort zone (and raised my children in it), and now ... as an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree when I maintain it and am renovating it so that I can age in place ...
THAT is when the HOUSE became MY HOME! (And yes, I AM a Single Homeowner -- and love being a Homeowner -- Yardwork, Home Maintenance, pulling out my tools and working on the home .. and all the hard work that goes with it!)
