How would you go about filing a discrimination complaint against your employer?? And it does not matter what your filing the complaint for. Thanks so much for all who answer. God Bless

Contact your states labor board or the US EEOC. Just about all trhe detail you need is in the EEOC links below.

You can also search for labor lawyers that may take your case on a contingency basis if it's a strong one, link also below.

Good luck, discrimination cases are a tough row to hoe.

Contact your local Department of Labor. These folks will have the answer you are looking for. Every state has an agency that files these complaints and investigates each and every claim. But I will tell you that discrimination is very very hard to prove, so I wish you the best with your problem. Where I live, the agency who investigates those issues is called EEOC, equal employment opportunities commission I believe is what it is called.

First you would need to have filed a complaint with the EEO at your place of employment if they have one. If not you would need to contact the EEOC, a federal agency to investigate the incidents of discrimination and verify them. It does matter what you are filing your complaint for because you have to be able to prove your accusations. You can't claim someone is racially prejudiced and had discriminated against you without having specifics about the incidents.
