I think that more often it is rage that turns to sadness because during those times we say and do things we don't mean. But sadness can turn into rage to, but usually I think it turns into apathy because people get tired of being sad or beaten down.

If you stew about why your sad long enough there is a good chance it will turn to rage I suppose. The best thing to do is cry it out, just don't let it build inside you, or else your going to end up like an emotional time bomb ready to explode at the slightest little nudge.

I've felt both of those emotions to the extreme, and they've had a significant impact on my life.
Sometimes my sadness would turn to rage but I'm naturally an angry person and would rather be angry than sad.
I think it depends on the person.

No,it turns into anxiety and as we try hard to get rid of this it ambivalently turns into despair,as we try to desparately get rid of this most unwanted feeling,we turn to rage to solve our problems,something I do not want
