Why was Bill Clinton's cheating on Hillary more important than the outing of a CIA agent?

Clinton did get impeached and deserved to. Why not all involved in the Plame outing?

The CIA itself has said that she didn't meet the requirements of a covert agent. That's why no one was charge with ousting her.

Someone was charged with perjury though, same as what Bill was impeached for. Bill go nothing, he got two years in prison and $250,000 fine.

Bill had a sexual affair with a woman in the oval office.
He forget which date he spoke to a reporter (He never denied talking about her, he gave the wrong date that he did it).

That's why I agree with his sentence being commuted. Had Bill been held accountable, I'd have been angry about Libby not being.

You know that Clinton was not impeached for cheating on Hillary but I am not going to spend ten minutes writing about what the investigation was about here. Second, Plame was not a covert agent and therefore no law was broken by her name being thrown out. Third, the senate select committee on intelligence has concluded that Plame and Wilsons version of the Niger trip was in fact a lie/misrepresentation. Should they be punished?

Because sex is dirty, nasty, rotten, evil, satanistic, diseased, cruel, corrupting, bad, horrible, terrible, messy - unless it's with your wife - for the sake of having a child. Then it's permissable if you repent after.

Outing a CIA agent was necessary. You see if we let people like the husband of that agent disagree with our benevolent President Bush then people might ask questions and who knows? Even the media might ask real questions and then where are we? No war in Iraq? No landing on an aircraft carrier to show the world how brave our dear president really is. Well, we have a little snafu in Iraq that keeps our illustrious President Bush from all that oil that we need more than the Iraqi's. But hasn't our imperial, God-like, President Bush told us that he will take care of that little problem if we only give him a little more time and some more American soldiers and billions of dollars, a small price to pay for the glory of Bush-America!

Plame was just a desk jockey with delusions of being a super duper top secret spy. Clinton put his hand on the Bible and lied under oath.

wow, at first I thought that was just a rhetorical question. After reading the responses I noticed that some people don't know what impeachment is. I also noticed some people have no idea what Libby was sentenced for. What a sheltered little world we seem to live in.

Plame wasn't covert so no law was broken. If it were that wouldve been on Richard Armatage. Libby said he couldnt remember and was convicted of lying. I think the dems are just going to investigate everything until the end of Bush's term and try to trip up anyone they can so they can throw them in jail.

You have not been paying attention. Ms. Plame was not outed. Richard Armitage released her name to Bob Novak. She was not a covert agent. Mr. Libby was convicted of lying to a grand jury. He was never charged with a violation of outing Ms. Plame.

Not sure if the constitution has impeachment for a staffer. It is a little different when the president does it. If they can prove the president did it, then maybe he could be impeached.

How does one out a non-covert person? Lying to a grand jury is perjury especially when their is no reason to sense either Hillary already knew he was a womanizer or is too stupid to be president.
