as well as I was, but you know, they are just coming into their powers and for them to be able to just go all out and know exactly how to use them and control them would have been cheesy...wait until the end of next season..they will be mad powerful..

Got to agree - such a disappointment! Good episode, but terrible last ten mins. I felt Peter not flying away himself was acceptable because he was too busy concentrating on not exploding to be able to fly. But Hiro not freezing time to kill Sylar was ridiculous - Sylar could easily have stopped him from stabbing him! My main gripe though was the fact that Clare didn't just shoot Peter as planned - why didn't she do it?! She knows full well he can regenerate, so that would make much more sense than Nathan flying off with him (although I'm not entirely convinced Nathan is dead anyway- he could've dropped Peter the second before he was due to explode and made a quick getaway!)
But really - why not shoot Peter?!?! Very lame ending - me and my boyfriend were both extremely disappointed and very let down by it. And Sylar slithering down the drain at the end?!?! Please! I was looking forward to a new baddie next season - maybe the man that scares Molly who can see her when she's locating him!

I thought that the season finale not series finale was awesome! Next season is going to be awesome! Two Heroes shows to watch for a combined 30 episodes! I can't wait to vote for a new character! Remember September 24!

I agree it wasn't an incredible finale. It was completely left open. Nothing was truly resolved. There was no big twist or true cliffhanger. For suspense. Except Hiro being in the past, waiting for that blue sphere to grant them power's.
It was obvious there were budget restrictions
I still enjoyed the show and looking forward to next season. But not with any enthusiasm.

What did you expect the world to blow up?
There had to be an anticlimax to keep the series going.
I think they are set up for the what happened to Sylar show and the will Nathan be back question.
Will Molly live with DL and the family or what.
And what happened to the shift shaper?
There is losts to deal with here.

apparently. finales are the strikes that have given composers the main subject. finding a passable thank you to sum-up a symphonic artwork isn't straightforward and, satirically, the single you published - that of Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony is a working example. that's totally vulnerable musically and structurally and has better than its honest proportion of 'padding'. Tchaikovsky himself recognised its shortcomings - and of his conflict to jot down satisfactoty very final strikes extra often than no longer. lots extra suited than the 5th, is Tchaikovsky's finale to the 4th Symphony - particularly as taken a smash-neck velocity as that's interior the 1st link below. the comparable forces doing the final pass of Shostakkovich's 5th is tremendously exhilarating too (2d link). The 'forced' optimism at 8:fifty 8 to the tip is very finely carried out right here ("ok, Mr Stalin - you choose us to celebrate? So we are going to celebrate with fake smiles on our faces!"). Ahh, we are going to by no skill pay attention that pretty Russian sound ever back. final in my Svetlanov-fest is the finale of Shostakovich's 6th - a sort of gruesome burlesque with tongue fastened firmly in cheek. I definitely have consistently enjoyed the finale to prokofiev's little-heard (and easily below-liked) third Symphony. The Dutoit overall performance on the 4th link is very solid. pay attention it by way of to the tip because of the fact the previous few chords are spectacular. My very final determination is the last section to Varèse's 'Amériques' - somewhat between the loudest, maximum hair-raising and exhilarating ends to any piece!

It was a let down.
The end of ep 22 with Sylar - 'Boom!' was such a great way to set the scene.
Lets hope things get better for season 2.

It is a season finale and NOT a series finale.
It is actually quite good. Not all that bad.

I thought the finale was good. You weren't sure what was going to happen to Peter. The 2nd season is going to be really good.
