Don't have an answer more that the same happens to me, you click the icon on your desk and the logo comes up then disappears, and that's Limewire and it bites. Someone recommended Blubster but that's not much better. It just makes you want to go back to the local record shop, if it hasn't already been closed by all these hacksters creaming a fortune off us

Have you gone to file and set it as connected? then wait for the connection. Drop Limewire and get Frostwire for free at Frostwire.com, Person who invented limewire left and made frostwire safer better.

i had the same problem. it means that a firewall on your computer is blocking limewire. there is a little icon on the bottom left corner of the limewire window that indicated this...it looks like a world with a little wall.

Well, first of all your computer is gonna have a bunch of spyware and virus. Limewire sucks. Try soulseek its way better but you share your music.
