If you believe in the conspiracy view of history, you have probably read WIlliam Cooper's Behold a Pale Horse. It shows how the Elite controls our nations currency, education, and decisions. I got to thinking how the Elite controls every aspect of our lives and has deceived so many people. To take America back would be near impossible. Too many people believe what the government says. For the real patriots, what would we do. Sure, the Elite is CFR adn the Federal Reserve, but we would have to clear the government of all the Elite. IT would take a revolution. How must we take America back?

It's called a grass roots movement.
Where I live "Most" people are very un-happy about the way the country is being run.

However, apparently they don't care or don't understand that the USA is supposed to be "Governed" by the laws set down in writing in the Constitution......We the people, are self elected to try our best to teach each other, what we have learned.

Now, a grass roots movement is when communities unite for a common cause, in this case getting our 'Freedoms' back the way they are described in the 'Bill of Rights' & the rest of the Constitution.

At the Ron Paul meet-up meetings I am attending these issues are being talked about.

I have a strong feeling socialism instead of 'Liberty' is now being taught in many American
public schools. The only way to counter this is to teach our kids about the Constitution & Bill of Rights, ourselves.

You use the word elite. Its funny how government schools have trained us all to believe that government is some elite entity that is superior to us. Where as in reality, the government is supposed to be our servant, we are the government.
It's starting to look dim I'd say. Too many people are complacent and uneducated. They will vote for whoever has the most money and best TV commercials.
All I can recommend is that people be skeptical of everything they hear and search for the truth, its out there if you just take a few minutes out of your day.
I think Ron Paul for president would be a definate step in the right direction, but there would still be a ways to go.

88321 hit it right on the head. we consume far too much. we willingly give the corporations all the power (and money) then complain that they have too much. Meanwhile, Americans in general have little or no savings accounts. Voting democratic won't help, They serve the same masters as the republicans and always have. We need to consume less if we ever want to come near taking back power. One look at the News when the Iphone was released articulated the problem better then I could. Most of the people couldn't afford that phone or the service contract that goes with it. Didn't matter, they needed that phone like it was air. All the money they spent translates to power, campaign contributions, and the very things we can't stand about corporate America.

Impose strict term limits. Four years for senators, two, two year terms for representatives and out of government. Make it illegal to lobby the government with money. Do away with special interest groups, PAC's, etc. America is no longer a democracy and hasn't been for years. Our government is probably the most corrupt group of people in the country. States could take a tip from Nevada, clean elections. The most a person can donate towards a person running is five dollars. That would give the average American a chance to compete for a seat in congress. No spending personal money on your campaign, must be all donations.

United we must stand. Even in protest.

"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people" ( V for Vendetta)

Lets look at the biggest protest document in american history... Our declaration of independance.... Slowly read, then re r'ead exactly what our founders were telling the british... We have heard the words a thousand times, but did we really take the time to listen:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Basically, when a government ceases to serve the people it was created to serve, that government should cease to exist. It is the "RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO ALTER OR ABOLISH IT"

Even if you dont have the time to picket, you can still support groups dedicated to change. Toss a sign in the front yard, and let everyone know they are not alone in their dislike of the country.

Make a Sign... Make a Stand.

Forget the conspiracy. Take the power off the government hands. Eliminate the federal government in favor of the state governments. Reduce the state governments in favor of the county governments. And reduce the county governments to the minimum required to provide the services that can't be covered by the market (administration of the public things).
No more social services. No more taxes. The government gets paid for the services it provides. People won't be able to survive unless they create wealth in the form of products and services required by the market.
Vote real libertarians.

All elites? Certainly the international bankers and trans-national corporations.

Gonna be a hard and uphill battle. But the French people led the way on 14 July 1789 (Bastille Day). Was a long fight through Napoleon Bonaparte.

My perception of the world is mine alone and the same with yours but we agree on many things that creates society as a whole. We understand our conscious mind based on our domestication, what we learned since birth until we were able to think for ourselves (usually somewhere around 12 years old). We were all taught that the grass is green for example. Our mind agrees and it becomes a belief. So in a way what we see and feel is what we accepted long ago to be our dream or reality. Parents teach their children what they learned and their children teach their children the same things and on and on down through the generations.

I don't think most people believe they need to take the government back.

In theory, when you vote for your representative, you try to choose the best person for the job. The 'best' person is often well-educated and very often well-connected to local and/or regional organizations. But if you call them 'Elite', then yes people will vote for 'Elites' more often than not.

By the way, nothing stops 'true patriots' such as yourself from running as independent candidates, you will just have to somehow persuade a whole lot of people to vote for you come election time.

cooper's book is good reading --(but of is that only a book) sot i hope you base your thoughts not only on that book but on other folks books and there is a lot of them out there that paints a completely different picture. but i do believe that the country does have a lot of problems -- i believe that if you are really serious about seeing change your need to start a email campaign that lets your lawmakers from the local, state and federal level know just how you feel. we will sat around the coffee shops and ***** and bad mouth this so and so but have you ever typed of an email and added all the names that agree with you.
