The first twin was born on February 28 and the second twin was born on March 1. On leap years, they would celebrate their birthdays two days apart. :-)
All the best.

Maybe the parents want each twin to have it's own special day. Perhaps one has the celebration the day before the real birthday and the other the day after.

It is not uncommon for twins to be born on different days. There are many instances where they are born weeks or in a few cases months apart.
Another reason might be if the twins are adults and are tired of sharing their special day, they might just agree to celebrate each on different days.

well now, if one is born at 11.59 pm and the other at 00.01 am, thats one calendar day, then due to travel if one is in a different time zone, say Australia, they gain another day, that's two days.
Or it could be that they are not related at all. Each set of twins come from a different family and have 2 days difference in their birthday.

it can be that the mom had two uteruses.... my sister has it... it´slike genetical or something... she got it from my grandma.... it´s like you only got to get banged once and you get pregnant... my grandma had triplets from one uterus.... but if the mom got pregnant in both (which is quit usual in these cases) then she has the probability that one was born a couple of days before the other one... like voila! but they´re still twins because they where in the womb at the same time

If they were in separate sacks in the womb, one could have been born one day and the other a couple days later.

they might do this so they each have a special day or that their poor mother was in labor for a few days and delivered them on different days.
