There was a big debate a few months back when Steve Wynn changed the tipping policy at his hotel and included the pit bosses in on the split of the tips. The dealers went crazy and formed a union.

The argument was that the dealers were making more than the pit bosses so in order to keep the bosses, they had to give them more money than the dealers. The dealers were making $80-100k a year and the boss were making $75k.

So at the highest of high end casino, the dealers were making $80k so you can expect that to be the absolute max. Im guessing the average joe at a place like Luxor is probably making close to $45-50K a year and at a low end place closer to $35k.

It really depends on the casino. The larger, newer casinos dealers are probably doing well over $100k/year. Then you'd go down from there to smaller casinos off the strip where dealers might make around $25-30k/yearly. These smaller places are usually where newer dealers start out since the bigger casinos want experienced professional dealers.

I don't think there are any dealers making over 80K - at least I have never heard of any.

Check this site, they show the daily tokes of various LV casino dealers.

You can see that the Rio's dealers tokes are very high >looks like they are reaping the benefits from the WSOP.

Dealers generally make a base rate of $4.50 - $5, tokes make up the vast majority of their pay.
