I would suggest contacting church organizations in your community. In mine, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul helps parents who have difficulty providing uniforms and school supplies for their children. I would also call the guidance counselor at my child's school and ask for recommendations for places to get help.

Check the thrift stores for items that are basic, such as white shirts, khaki pants, and navy pants and skirts. Some also have backpacks in still good condition (just bought a cute Winnie-the-Pooh one for my daughter at the thrift store for 3 dollars!)
99cents Only stores, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and other dollar stores caryy tons of paper, pens, pencils, and other school supplies.
As for clothes for the other kids, ask around at church or playgroup for local sources for good, used clothing. Most kids don't care about where their clothes come from, they learn pride and snobbery from their parents. Yard sales always are a good source of cheap clothes, or finding a friend at church with older children willing to pass on clothes for free to you is always nice. It's just good policy to buy new underwear, socks and shoes.
Have fun looking around and good luck.

Target carries school uniforms. You can also get pants or shirts there on the folded tables from 3.99-5.99, less if they are on sale. School supplies, just watch the ads, usually right before school you can get boxes of crayons and glue sticks for 10 cents

You can try to look for a Family Giving Tree in your area. This organization gives out clothes, backpacks to kids whose parents can't support them. Good luck!. God bless.
