I know they are illegal in some states, but are they illegal in COLORADO? I honestly don't want to hear about the laws in other states. Also, is there a good online resource where I can look up the gun laws in Colorado without opinions, just what the law says?

The only ammo that I can determine that is illegal in Colorado is in Aurora and it bans Teflon coated bullets ...but only in Aurora?

Phosphorus coated ammo (tracers) are dangerous to the environment as they can cause a major fire!

Here's the site for Colorados gun laws. http://www.bradycampaign.org/legislation/state/viewstate.php?st=co

Try nraila.org. It's the NRA's official site and they're usually pretty thorough on all the states gun laws.

Get a case of them and take it into your local police office, they can tell you just by looking at them whether or not they are legal in your area.
