The Braxton part makes me think of Braxton-Hicks contractions and the Kord part makes me think of umbilical cord. Sorry, but those are honestly the first things I thought of when I read your post.

They are all last names. Maybe adding a more standard name to the front of the combo would be good. If it's a girl, Melissa Braxton Kord Green or a boy Jason Braxton Kord Green. Something to even it out.

braxton reminds me of braxton hicks..weird. and Kord just is cord with a different letter. or taking words from the birthing process. I am confused?

Sounds like a name for equipment of some sort.
"Grab the braxton kord and wrap it around...."

Braxton is fine, but be prepared for it to be shortened, possibly to Brax. Is Kord a family name? Cord is somewhat nicer, but they do go well together.

His initials will be BG, like BeeGees. Something to consider. Kord sounds like a terminator word. I like "Beauregard Patrick" to go with Green.
