the best thing to do is called the "Viking Splash" - its a tour bus with a difference and an absolute hoot.
Check it out... vikingsplash.ie
For the nightlife, templebar and if the weather is good, you don't even need to enter a pub to have a good time.
If your into Culture, River Dance is currently on in the Geity Theatre... I know, really cheesy thing to do in Dublin but it is good

Hi, Take a tour bus around 14 euros each it's a hop on hop off bus all day, it will take you to the best tourist attractions. Guinness Factory, Jameson's Factory, Phoenix Park. Go to Henry St it is fantastic for shopping, it's the next street after the Post Office on O'Connell St. Also near the post office is Flanagan's and it's a great restaurant. (must say the post office is well worth a trip into it takes you back in time.) Have a great stay Dublin is fantastic.

Take a sight-sing tour buses it is possible to have a great one day trip!
If you have a nice sunny day you can maybe go for picnic or just walk in Dublin`s famous park (longest in the world)?!

Try traditional Irish food!!! Yummy!

And have a lovely evenings out too!
It`s lovely there and it`s fun to go for "music pub crawl" too!

National Gallery.
A trip around Dublin bay on the DART.
The National Museum.
Trinity College and environs.
Temple Bar (but very expensive).
Dun Laoghaire (that's "Dun Leery" to you non-Irish out there) for a brilliant bracing walk along the pier if you've overindulged the night before.
The open-top bus tour is supposed to be great.
