Basing your decision on how clean the water was and sharks, would you choose to go to Pensacola Beach or Gulf Shores?

Though both are nice I would go to Pensacola ,not as many people go there and the beach is just as nice as Gulf Shores.
Not taking away from Gulf Shores but they are still rebuilding and is crowded.But talk a look at the Gulf Shores area with"bamabeachcams.com"

Gulf Shores definitely. I lived there for years, it has some of the best beaches in the world and anything you want to do is right there along with some of the best food you will ever eat. Pensacola is not worth the hype. Hope you have a great trip.

I'd pick Pensacola beach because I've stayed at a hotel there right on the beach, and the water was clean and the only thing to worry about was getting into an undertow current by going out way deep in the water... Sharks weren't addressed.

Yep, Gulf Shores. Pristine white sands. Hard to beat that.
